MMO Programming - Davincinators
About projectTogether with three of my colleagues, I created da Vincinators, a multiplayer vehicle combat game as part of a programming course during my studies at IGAD. We were given the BigWorld server system to work with, and were tasked to create a functional MMO using it. During my time on the project, I focused on creating and implementing the game's interface and various particle systems.
From this project I learned how to inform myself as a programmer when learning to use a new engine, how to set up a virtual Linux machine to use as a production environment and how to perform event-based programming. Additionally, I learned how to write in the Python language. |
